Terms of Service

Agreement

Cene is operated by Laos Holdings, LLC ("Laos Holdings," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing Cene or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Cene.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Cene is currently focused on Scottsdale, Arizona. We may refuse or revoke access at our discretion.

Your account

You are responsible for the phone number you verify and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate others or create fake profiles.

Text messages

SMS messages about your account are part of Cene's core functionality. They include account status, friend connections, invitations, RSVP confirmations and updates, and outing coordination, as well as verification codes used to sign in.

You can opt out at any time. Reply STOP to a Cene text and we will honor that request. You can also opt out in account settings. After you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS from Cene. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Without those messages, Cene may not be able to deliver SMS-based functions, including notices about your account, invitations, connections, RSVPs, and outings. Opting out does not close your account. You can keep using Cene on the site, and you can opt back in from account settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Cene for unlawful, harassing, or abusive behavior
• Attempt to scrape, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service
• Share access codes or invites in a way that misrepresents Cene
• Post false information or use the service to spam others

Pre-launch service

Cene is preparing for launch. Features, availability, and locations may change. We may modify or suspend the service at any time without liability for interruptions during pre-launch or beta periods.

Disclaimers

Cene is provided "as is." We do not guarantee matches, outcomes, or in-person interactions. You are responsible for your conduct and safety when meeting people in real life.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cene and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute that may be brought in court will be the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
